Kathleen Noonan, Robert Noonan's (Tressell's) daughter, photographed in August 1913. At this time she was working as a children's nurse in North Finchley where she met Jessie Pope, a journalist and writer of children's books. Having read the manuscript of 'The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists', Miss Pope recommended it to Grant Richards for publication.
