A resolution at the 1968 Congress called on the Government to ratify ILO conventions 100 and 101 on equal pay and opportunities. This photo shows Audrey Hunt from the Association of Scientific, Technical & Managerial Staffs moving an amendment to the motion, which was also carried despite opposition from the General Council, calling for affiliated unions to support any union taking industrial action for equal pay.
